THIS IS A BUS!
This is how it looked when I bought it.

It's a 1990 GMC

The engine was rebuilt shortly before I got it, the quality of workmanship of which became apparent to me when I drove it two thousand miles from Baltimore (we took the scenic rout, visited the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, in Cleveland, etc.) without adding so much as a quart of oil. It has an automatic transmission and power brakes and steering. It had a wheelchair lift on the back and all the seats, which I removed. This is a medium length bus (28' long).

I'm painting it up Hog Farm/Merry Pranksters style with the Texas Pop Festival poster on each side and the website address across the top of each side. I converted into an RV type, hippie style, complete with refrigerator, TV, generator, A/C, stereo, toilet, shower, stove, etc.

The bus will be taken to "Oldies Fests," blues festivals, etc. and parked in a conspicuous place, thus allowing for the promotion of the book, the site, historical awareness of the festival, education to the masses of what hippies were really all about and the general having of a good time for all who participate.

By the way. The bus is named Furthermore, in honor of Further (or Furthur), Ken Kesey's bus (of Electric Koolaid Acid Test fame) which was at the Texas Pop Festival. Want to see how it's looking?
