A Sinking Ship
There sails a ship on stormy sea.
    T'was launched near fifty-three.
Its Captain Bly can't reason why.
He's adding cost of treasure lost.
The cost is much too high.
There sails a ship upon a dream.
A splitting seam, a cracking beam,
So battered, tattered, worn and torn,
Still strikes its colors to show the others
    The captain is forlorn.
