On My Knees

    I feel I need to talk to you
    About something I feel I need.
    It's something I feel needs to be.
    You know it's not just greed.

    I wasn't there when you called to me.
    I was with someone else having fun.
    Yet you're waiting here when I need you.
    Now I know you're the only one.

    Please hold me tight, don't let me go.
    I need you more than ever.
    It won't be easy, that I know,
    And I know that it's now or never.

    Just hold my hand and I'll be all right.
    I'm sure I'll make it through.
    Please give me the things you know I need,
    But all I need is you.

    I feel I need to talk with you
    About what I need to feel.
    It's something that I feel needs to be.
    It's something I know is real.

    Please remember I'm only human,
    Though you made me what I am.
    Forgive me if I don't always keep my word.
    I'll do better, I'm sure, Amen.
