Terrestrial Love
Leaving you was more than I could do,
Yet here I am without you.
Living here is more than I can stand,
Yet here I am; I am.
And the trees keep on playing your tune.
And the stars harmonize with the moon.
And the mountain rumbles and crumbles
And mumbles something about your eyes to the skies.
Now can you see how I miss you?
Having you is the easiest thing I can imagine,
But I can just imagine having you here.
Losing you is something that just couldn't happen,
Yet losing you I fear.
And the lake reflects my love to the hillside.
And my love is watered from your riverside.
And clouds all cry and wind will sigh until I'm by your side.
Now can you see how I love you?
