A Tiger Speaks
The words that never leave your lips,
Like travelers that don't take trips,
Are dreams forgotten long before you wake.
But words that do not mean a thing
Are like a boxer in the ring,
Alone, yet reaching out his hand to shake.
But words that give the mind a chance,
Are like a tiger in a stance.
No motion will reveal him to the snake.
But when he knows the time is right,
He's sure to have the speed and might.
The tiger's ready with the move he'll make.
