Love in the Rain
Our love was like the weather
As the rain kept pouring down.
Our bodies touched together
As the raindrops touched the ground.
I heard above the patter,
You were whispering my name.
I have that love forever.
It will always be the same.
Water trickled down your face.
Drops ran through our hair.
Some might say this was not the place.
We were much too wet to care.
I knew the water would take to the air
To rain again someday.
And though our love would not be there,
It would never go away.
