Philippines 2005

Mommy setting a cop straight in Manila. The van we were in was new, sold the day before, and had no registration tag. The cop was screaming and about to blow a gasket. It was silly. Then Mommy told him who she is (wife of a former cop and colonel in the army intelligence). That cooled his heels. Barely out of the airport and our second case of corruption. (The first was bribing the customs agent not to bother looking at our stuff.)
