Face to Face

    Like a flash of lightening,
    Visions all so frightening.
    They don't know they're real,
    Now you do.

    You know it was so exciting.
    You could read the walls with writing.
    It all seems so inviting
    To you.

    But wait a little longer.
    They're just not getting stronger.
    It seems they're fading away,
    But they all are here to stay
    With you.

    Get up to face the day.
    Get up and pave the way.
    Get up to face the day.
    It's facing you.

    My thoughts are all on other things.
    I have no time for you.
    Your abstract words I cannot read
    Don't help the things I do.
